The Hymn Dingers!
The La Tijera Hymn Dingers are a talented group who perform in worship and other venues throughout the year. We perform on 3 octaves of Malmark handbells and choir chimes - and have been known to add drums, harp, flute, guitar, harmonica, and anything else we can get our hands on to our music making! The Singers!
We don't have a traditional, formal choir at La Tijera - our singers come from all over Los Angeles and join together to make a joyful noise! The Singers provide music in worship a few times a year, and don't have a set rehearsal schedule. The Singers consist of musicians, composers, actors, and anyone who loves to sing without the commitment of weekly rehearsals. Our music ranges from contemporary, praise, global, traditional hymns, and even Cajun music! Contact Lyda with any questions - and to find out when The Singers will next be in worship!
The W.A.Y. (Worship Arts Youth)
The W.A.Y. add a bit of drama to worship - and also a bit of music and movement too! Whether it's acting out the scripture reading, narrating a story, dancing the hymns, or adding drums to worship, The W.A.Y. brings their own vision to what worship should be.
